Designed for the intrepid traveler, this tour allows two guests to explore the rugged beauty of Ha Giang on their own motorbikes. Wind through twisting mountain roads, traverse lush valleys, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of ethnic minority villages. Experience the thrill of riding along the scenic Nho Que River, with its crystal-clear waters cutting through towering limestone cliffs. From breathtaking vistas to authentic cultural encounters, this motorbike tour promises an unforgettable journey through the heart of northern Vietnam.

Night 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang (Sleeping on the bus)

From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM: The car will pick you up at the meeting point in the Old Quarter, Opera House, Tran Quang Khai Street. From 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM: Pick up guests at the Foreign Language University Gate (Pham Van Dong Street), Ciputra Urban Area Gate (Pham Van Dong Street) for the trip to Ha Giang. Overnight sleep on the sleeper bus. (*) Note:

  • For customers arriving at Noi Bai Airport close to departure time, the sleeper bus may pick you up at Kim Anh Intersection (at the beginning of the Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway, about 3km from Noi Bai Airport around 10:00 PM).
  • In provinces (outside Hanoi) where there are evening buses to Ha Giang and arrive early in Ha Giang the next morning. You can book a bus to Ha Giang yourself, our tour guide will pick you up early in the morning at the meeting point to start the tour program. Day 1: Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner) From 4:00 AM to 4:30 AM: Arrive in Ha Giang, the sleeper bus will take you to Homestay for temporary rest, personal hygiene in the morning and breakfast at Homestay.

At 7:00 AM: Our car and tour guide in Ha Giang will come to pick you up to start the journey to conquer the Ha Giang Rocky Plateau. Along the way, we will stop at various points:

  • Check-in at Km0 of Ha Giang.
  • Bac Sum Slope, take photos and admire the scenery on the 8km long slope.
  • Quan Ba Heaven's Gate, take pictures of the Fairy Mountain or also known as the Twin Mountains of Quan Ba and the panoramic view of Tam Son town from above.
  • Visit Tho Cam Lung Tam linen weaving village. Learn about the culture of linen weaving of the Hmong people as well as understand the 41 steps to create the product (Note: The road to Lung Tam is a rural road...The association may deteriorate or be damaged, so if the group arrives during road repairs or bad weather, they will skip this point to ensure the safety of the journey.
  • Take photos at the Lonely Nghien Tree - Can Ty, Quan Ba on the new Quan Ba - Yen Minh route. Noon: Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, continue sightseeing with:
  • Tham Ma Slope, an old slope that people used to assess the health of pack horses.
  • Cao Pho Village with typical H'mong houses surrounded by stone fences.
  • Chin Khoanh Slope, a famous winding slope.
  • Visit Sung La village (Lung Cam Cultural Village) to see the Ancient House of the H'mong people with walls made of clay - which was used as a backdrop for filming the movie "Pao's Story" in 2006 directed by Ngo Quang Hai, adapted from the short story "The sound of the flute behind the stone fence" by writer Do Bich Thuy, which won 4 Golden Kite Awards.
  • Vuong Family Mansion (King Cat's Palace) located in a valley in Sa Phin commune, this was the wealthiest and most powerful family in Dong Van at the beginning of the 20th century. The group will learn about the architectural art, history, and culture of the Vuong family.
  • Visit Lung Cu Flagpole - the northernmost point of the country, the highest latitude on the map of Vietnam. 6:00 PM: Return to Dong Van town. Check in at the hotel, rest, and have dinner. In the evening, the tour guide will take you for a walk to admire the Old Town of Dong Van, which has existed for nearly a century. You can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee at a café in the Old Town (self-paid). Overnight in Dong Van.

DAY 2: MA PI LENG - BOAT RIDE ON THE NHO QUE RIVER - HA GIANG (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)..

Morning: Guests have breakfast at the restaurant. If you visit on Sunday mornings, you can visit the famous Dong Van market bustling with vendors selling colorful clothes of the H'Mong, Dao, Tay people.

08:00: Check out of the hotel and continue the journey by car:

  • Conquer the 16km long Ma Pi Leng Pass connecting Dong Van to Meo Vac, also the most beautiful section of the "Happiness Road."
  • Take photos of the majestic beauty of Tu San Canyon (also known as Ma Pi Leng Canyon or Nho Que River Canyon) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m - the deepest cut terrain in Vietnam.
  • Cruise on the Nho Que River: Sail upstream on the Nho Que River to Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Vietnam located on the Nho Que River. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Xeo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passing through the Tu San mountain canyon following the Ma Pi Leng Pass (excluding the cost of boating on the Nho Que River + shuttle bus: 200k/person for groups of 10 or more; 250k/person for groups under 10).

Noon: Have lunch in Dong Van. After lunch, guests continue by car back to Ha Giang. 17:30: Return to Ha Giang. Guests have dinner at the restaurant. Then return to the Homestay for personal hygiene and rest. At the appointed time (usually around 9:00 PM), the sleeper bus will pick up guests at the Homestay to take them back to Hanoi. The next morning, around 3:00 AM, arrive at Noi Bai Airport, 4:00 AM back to Hanoi. The shuttle bus will take guests back to the Old Quarter and Opera House or the nearest point along the drop-off route (if notified when booking the tour).

TOUR PRICE APPLIES TO 01 GUEST

(applicable for individual guests joining a group)...In the event that customers are satisfied with the service provided by the driver and tour guide, they may choose to tip the driver and tour guide according to their discretion. The tipping amount is entirely voluntary but typically starts from 50,000 VND per person per day.

Tip regulations for foreign customers: 3 USD per person per day.

Reasonable additional costs:

  • Single room surcharge: 200,000 VND per person per night (applies to cases where a customer travels alone without being able to share a room with another person) or due to a specific request for a separate room from the customer.
  • Price difference for sightseeing tickets (if applicable) may increase after the tour booking. This is due to objective circumstances. Your understanding is appreciated!

(*) General note on local hotel services: For tourist destinations (especially mountainous areas), we classify hotel services relatively based on room rates and room quality compared among hotels in the same area rather than relying on star ratings issued by the tourism authority.

Children (important to understand the child policy):

  • Children aged 1-4 receive complimentary services (free of charge without a seat on the vehicle, parents are responsible for all related expenses). Only 2 adults are allowed to accompany 1 free child, with the second child onwards charged at 50% (includes half meal portion and a separate seat on the vehicle). If 1 adult accompanies 1 free child, the child must pay 50% of the adult tour price (child's half tour price standard).
  • Children aged 5-9 are charged at 75% of the tour price + 100% of the bed price (includes a separate meal portion, seat on the vehicle, and...Up to 75% discount on adult ticket prices for sightseeing. If there are additional charges due to a child's height exceeding the specified limit, the extra fee will be directly charged to the parents. Two children at 75% each do not count as one adult ticket and there is no standard bed, they have to sleep
